Sonja started her career at DWS in Frankfurt, where she worked as an award-winning global equity portfolio manager. “L&G Re is a dynamic and agile organization, and I am thrilled to be part of such a collaborative leadership team. I look forward to developing HR to support our ongoing development and make a difference by providing an effective HR strategy from start to finish. As Global Chief Operating Officer, Brenda is responsible for LGIM`s technology, operations, transformation and customer service teams and is appointed SMF 24 Chief Operating Officer. Brenda joined LGIM in May 2020 and brings over 25 years of experience in global asset management. Prior to LGIM, Brenda had a 24-year career at BlackRock, where she worked in New York and London, where she was most recently Global Head of Customer Services, Chief Operating Officer EMEA and Chief Operating Officer of the Commercial Operations Division. Brenda has experience leading transformative change, improving customer experience and operational excellence across multiple customer markets and product lines. Bill is currently Chair of the Property Industry Alliance (PIA), which brings together the UK`s leading real estate organisations to give them a stronger collective voice on issues such as policy, research and best practice. Bill has served as Commissioner of the Lyons Review, past President of the Association of Real Estate Funds (AREF) and former President of the British Property Federation (BPF). Martin joins the company from Maryland, where she served as Chief Operating Officer at Legal & General America, where she was responsible for supporting the growth of the term life insurance business. To further strengthen the management team, Brenda Sklar has been appointed Global Chief Operating Officer for Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM). Bill joined Legal & General in 2007 and is responsible for transforming the UK real estate fund management business into a global real estate asset platform.
Operating in both the direct investment and lending markets, the firm actively invests and manages over £36 billion* of assets under management and offers capacity in the areas of real estate, infrastructure and corporate debt. Bill previously held positions at RREEF, Deutsche Bank`s Real Estate Fund Management and Schroder Property Investment Management. Expertise: We offer cutting-edge know-how based on diversity.
