Springfield Hellcat Ct Legal

My standard EDC is an HK 45c, I bought the Hellcat wasp to have a 9mm thread for inserting the supressor, but once I broke it, this is my new hidden EDC. The wasp has a fracture of the muzzle that really keeps the nose down and allows a quick return to the target, unlike most subcompacts I`ve shot. The built-in red dot that can be seen on the visual image is absolutely dense and really easy to reach. I was afraid that the red dot would be smaller than most, but it matched the weapon perfectly. I shared it with two people and both ordered theirs. Thank you Ryan! I carry my hell cat every day and am preparing to buy even more self-defense ammo. Impossible to find on any of the sites if it was correct with more P. Thank you for your reply! I had no problems with closing the slide on my hell cat. I have very big hands, maybe that`s why? I had problems with the Kimber micro 9, with my thumb pressing the mag shutter button every time I photographed it.

The Hellcat works well and is very accurate compared to similar models, including the Sig. I really didn`t want to like the hell cat. As an M&P fanboy, I thought, how could this weapon be good “out there”. In short, I took a OSP with the wasp optics. I took it without optics to compare it to my shield. It is lighter and slightly smaller, which we all know. The surprise was how easy it was to dig it. The image of Springfield eyesight is pretty good for older eyes like mine. But then I put the optics and I reset them. He redefined Micro 9 for me.

Decent groups at 25 meters to my goal of 66% Idpa at 50, it convinced me. Will I sell my shield, HEDGE no, but the hell cat now spends a lot more time in my belt. The only negative I have to give is that the trigger has no wall, only tension, and then a bang. It`s a bit safer for CCW without security this way, but many prefer a hard wall with a clean break. Pure preference, I think. I love the hell cat, it is perfect for me, it is an accurate high quality pistol and coverable big weapon.. First, Springfield Armory introduced the gun with optical models. It`s a smart move, because the future of guns involves points. Whether it`s red dots like the Shield RMS or tritium/fiber systems like the new Sig p365 SAS.

Ron, I own a Hellcat and there was nothing about using p in the manual. I saw reviews saying it was p-rated, so I called Springfield. When I called, they said it wasn`t noted. I`m not the expert, so when in doubt, check it out. Maybe something has changed. I love the hell cat. I think Springfield knocked that gun out of the park. I`m just trying to be critical and give you everything. This weapon is MUCH better than any XD I`ve fired.

If you love XDs, you`ll either love the Hellcat because it`s so much nicer, or you`ll hate the Hellcat because you don`t know what a good weapon is. What we liked: The Hellcat is a high-performance micro gun that has proven to be very reliable. We have no qualms about recommending this weapon to anyone. Very reliable (except for zipper lock if you hold the gun like me) Also, red dots are clearly the future of pistol sights. It`s really cool to see a manufacturer offer an optical version right out of the box when the gun is released. When we picked up our brass after our shot, we noticed another resemblance to a Glock gun, the primers had the Glock-shaped rectangle revealing the strike hole and even had a similar striker marker (with some primer resistance). The trigger claw and some of the trigger springs in the frame also look a lot like a Glock setup. Of course, the pieces are unique and the operation is different in that the Hellcat is a true single action, instead of the Striker being partially loaded like a Glock by pulling the trigger. I`m not the best group shooter, so I`m going to take that performance every day – especially with such a small handgun.

I felt good in my hand. The sliding serrations were a big plus. “However, it still looks like a weapon made in Croatia (because it does) because it looks like a solid `weapon of value` that has a lot to offer.” The slide cup of the gun is designed so that you can mount the sight directly on the slide of the gun. It is stronger and flatter than the use of adapter plates. In fact, I`d like them to do the same for front gears. Secondly, if you don`t use the optical part, they have carried the slide gears up and above the sheet. We don`t know yet if this will hook to a case, but we think it`s an interesting option for better grip! Having said that, I do not think I would have said it that way. What we didn`t like: The price.

Yes, it`s a great gun, but the MSRP is the same as the Sig P365. Check out our Sig p365 comparison below to see why we think the Hellcat should be at least $100 cheaper. Croatia, once part of Yugoslavia, was adjacent to Austria. Comments about the feeling of being a Croatian weapon are a pretty ugly way to beat the whole new country (1991), which today is still only a short drive from the country where Glocks are made. Make it a Springfield vs Glock story, but not a country on the ground. My Glock and Springfield are two great weapons that aren`t clearly winning anyway. Springfield joined Glock and Sig. The review shows that he is at the top and has created a strong brand of the top 3. Curious about the new Springfield micro-pistol, I wanted to take it apart to see what was going on inside before taking it to the shooting range to shoot it.

As I took the slide apart, I realized that the Springfield Hellcat is more easily described as a single-action Glock. Seriously, look at this attacker and tell me you don`t see any influence from Glock. The Hellcat is a large capacity Micro 9mm pistol. It contains 11 + 1 rounds of 9 mm with a flush magazine and 13 + 1 shots of 9 mm with the magazine elongated. Also, the reset, while audible/tactile, is a bit far for my taste (especially for a single action trigger). This little baby is so capable and versatile that it`s not a tiny version of the weapon I`d rather have. it IS the weapon I would rather have. I fired the first 390 shots at the steel and decided to fire a group of 10 shots from 10 meters to see what they could do. I admit I`m a bit of a Glock fanboy, but when I wanted to combine the most compact size with maximum round capacity, the Hellcat was often caught before coming out. The Hellcat was absolutely reliable. However, one of the main considerations must also be the support of the 3rd parties, and it is difficult to beat Glock in this department.
