Reflection about Legal Basis of Physical Education

The legal basis for physical education in the Philippines is found in the Philippine Constitution of 1987. Article 14, section 19. Concepts of physical education include improving physical fitness, self-discipline, strengthening relationships with peers, and improving a person`s self-esteem and self-confidence. Physical education teaches people the value of physical activity in their lives so that they can avoid sedentary lifestyles. People active in team sports develop good interaction skills to achieve a common goal, thereby strengthening relationships with peers and building trust. The State shall protect and promote the right of all citizens to quality education at all levels and shall take appropriate measures to make such education accessible to all. (2) All educational institutions shall organize regular sports activities throughout the State in cooperation with Athletics Nines and other sectors. Concepts of physical education include improving physical adjustment. Abnegation. Strengthen the relationship of equality. and improving a person`s self-esteem and safety. Physical education teaches people the value of physical activity in their lives so that they can avoid sedentary lifestyles.

For me, as a student and as a future teacher, this law proves that quality education is the key to a better future. For a better state and for a better education system throughout the country. We have the perfect saying “quality over quantity,” which means that both public and private schools need to care more about the teaching part than the number of children who enroll each school year. To be honest, there are a lot of schools, especially in the public sector, that don`t really care about the quality of education. They only hire teachers who are not qualified to be one, and they put them in a teaching position that they think they can manage. (www.teacherph.com/legal-bases-of-philippine-educational-system/) — TESDA stipulates that persons who do not receive adequate education during primary, secondary and higher education may continue their studies through TESDA and with a shorter period/year. In TESDA, people can take courses that align with what they can do and what they can achieve. They shall encourage and encourage partnerships with various stakeholders, local communities and other civil society organizations to ensure the effective implementation of the Authority`s powers and functions. TESDA promotes education for all, especially those who are ready and want to pursue a bright future. The DSCE states that all school sectors must have the right services and programs for a better education system. CHED are the ones who govern in Filipino colleges and universities. For me, as part of their system, CHED should always be ready to receive feedback from us students, for example in relation to the academic calendar and other programs held at different universities, and of course the annual tuition increase. The CEED should always take into account the needs of students. Let us not deprive young people, whether they are lucky or not, of the quality education they really need and deserve. As future teachers, we must learn to do justice to every student we deal with. Physical education is physical fitness and skill training that engages psychomotor learning to promote that physical condition. It is education through physical activity for the entire development of a person`s body and mind.

It was once excluded in most societies, giving more importance to literacy. But once literacy became widespread, it was included in school curricula because people knew that fitness helped the mind. In the West, people have developed an educational system for physical education. And as more and more public schools used these education systems, physical education joined the bachelor`s degree program, majoring at Columbia University in 1901 and later elsewhere.
