The former stuttered at the beginning of the pandemic when courts closed during the first months of lockdown, but in late 2020/early 2021, dispute resolution teams were needed as the effects of the pandemic manifested themselves in the form of business-to-business disputes. The tech sector has grown globally, and Peru is no exception, as it is experiencing an increase in digital transactions and e-commerce, such as new grocery apps and the apparent reliance on technology to make working from home easier. These rankings reflect the results of a detailed analysis of law firm filings and thousands of interviews with CCs and lawyers conducted by our team of experienced researchers in accordance with our guidelines. The fastest growing companies in the capital are led by Burges Salmon, which continues to provide credible evidence of how its London team works with its market-leading Bristol office. The U.S. edition of The Legal 500 is now in its 15th year and, like other established editions of the guide, is used by millions of legal buyers worldwide when they need to hire outside lawyers. Finally, following the publication of the Pandora Papers in September 2021, increased international scrutiny of legal advice to offshore markets has had an impact on the Peruvian market. The individuals and law firms named in the region`s press release now face the challenge of maintaining a reputation and international relationships in response to the global questioning of the integrity of historical business with offshore companies. Nearly 400 law firms achieved one or more climbs in the UK rankings last year, while more than 300 were convincing enough to climb the ladder and evaluate their practice for the first time.
